No, but I believe it has walls because of which it is a pit.

Maybe some ancient saw a black hole when they projected? As good a explanation as any. How did they decide it was bottomless though in the first place.

Well then it wouldn’t be bottomless would it? In which case that would be blatant false advertising and i demand to speak to the manager.
