TMW been playing with my wood most of the day and feel tuckered out, making a bed frame by hand is a taxing process. Still need to stain, coat with beeswax, and assemble, but that’s tomorrow-Mao’s job.

Tmw a simple conversation with Baal is leading to complex chain of thought. I am basically asking if a path focused on strictly goals (which inevitably can lead to active nihilism and easily become exhausting), a path on core values (which can lead to personal goals being hit or missed, as long as the sense of self or of a group is maintained), or somewhere in the middle is the more efficent way of doing things. Asking myself what would a king approach things, I am starting to think it is the last answer. Or perhaps I am doing exactly what he warned me not to do by overthinking it.
Also tmw the boss said that I apparently reminded him less of a psychotic and more of Churchill walking around deep in thought (minus the cigar). Not sure if I should take that as a compliment or an insult lol

To be fair, nihilism can be liberating. When nothing matters, there are no right answers, and, conversely, no wrong answers, either. When one ceases to worry about right and wrong, one can dedicate that energy to what suits ones purposes. As Gautama once opined, All dharma is empty, even the dharma of empty dharma. Which in a manner of speaking could be interpreted Nothing matters, not even nothing mattering, matters. Just a kitty cats perspective on the matter.
Sounds like a backhanded compliment from the jefe, perhaps they’ve been watching pick-up artist seminars and are trying to bed you.
