First, one looks at your 6th House, the house of ritual, or receiving energy, and of surrendering the ego. Virgo is the ruler of the 6th House, but any water sign, Capricorn, Sagittarius, or Aquarius would be good signs here. And you do have Aquarius in the 6th House.
Second is a strong Saturn, Capricorn influence. While Capricorn rules the 10th House, the house of death and judgment, we’re looking for at least two planets in Capricorn (you have Mars and Neptune), and one of the occult signs in Saturn (the occult signs are Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces). Your Saturn is in Sagittarius. And Saturn ruling if not the 10th House, then the 6th, 8th, or 12th. And your 6th House is Aquarius, which is ruled by Saturn. So, you pass check number two.
Third, is a strong presence of Uranus, especially in it’s home, the 11th House (alsothe domicile of Saturn). The house of imagination, fantasy, and dreams. Your only Aquarius, which is ruled by Uranus, is in the 6th House. Gemini is in your 11th House, and it’s not ruled by Uranus, nor is Uranus exalted in it. Your Uranus in in Sagittarius, which is good, but you have only one aspect involving Uranus, a square with Jupiter. So, it’s not a check unfortunately, which may be why divination and any magical endeavors involving tapping into your imagination are so difficult for you.
Fourth is a strong Neptune, Pisces connection. Leo is in your 12th House, the house of evocation and psychic ability, ruled by Neptune (and Jupiter). Your 12th House is Leo, which, while not ruled by Neptune, is its exaltant. Which is good, Jupiter is in Pisces, and Neptune is in Capricorn, both good signs. And, there’s three different aspects with Neptune, that’s a check. As well, your 8th House is Pisces, which is a good sign.
Fifth, Pluto (and Mars) and Scorpio. Pisces is in your 8th House, the house of transformation, astral travel, and communication with the spirit world (Pluto’s Domicile), a Pisces is exalted in Pluto. Your Pluto is in Scorpio. And there are three aspects of Pluto. Check.
Sixth, Moon and Cancer. I’m sorry, Scorpio is in your 4th House, the house of intuition, divination, and the subconscious self, the Moon’s domicile. Scorpio is a fall of the Moon, you are being blocked off from an opposing force. Your Moon is in Sagittarius, and there are five aspects, these are good things. But, only one Pisces appears on the chart and your house is blocked off. Not a check, I’m sorry, but at least this tells us why you’re so bad at divination.
Seventh, Jupiter and Sagittarius. Aries is in your 9th House, the house of religion, philosophy, and study. Anything that is organized and magical, such as group workings or something. Aries and Jupiter are inert, they don’t do anything to each other. You have two planets in Sagittarius, this is good. You have two aspects with Jupiter, this is good. Half-check, for meeting the planetary half but not the house half.
