4chan has a post about some interesting pushback against a TEDx Talks that was framing pedophilia as “just another sexual orientation” and (given that those talks are influential) was likely to be used as a step forward towards equating pedophilia with homosexuality (consenting sex acts between adult males) and heterosexuality.

June 11th
Official TEDx Talks channel uploads a talk featuring a woman named Mirjam Heine declaring that pedophilia is a natural sexual orientation, “just like like heterosexuality”.
June 12th - 17th
The video goes viral and gets over 60k views, is down voted into oblivion, and the comment section is demanding efficient and modern gas chambers be built, double speed.
June 17th
TED deletes the video from the TEDx channel, without explanation.
June 18th
TED videos are published under a Creative Commons license (means you can freely copy and share them), so an anon uploads a mirror on YouTube and posts a link here letting us know that TED pulled the video. The mirror goes viral and gets 15k - 20k views in under 24 hours.
June 19th
TED files a copyright takedown notice on YouTube to have the mirror deleted, citing copyright and trademark violations. This censorship based on copyright grounds is in fact illegal, since the video was published under the CC license.
Anon contacts TED and asks them why they are doing this. They give some bullshit about “non authorized versions” of the video, saying it’s somehow not under the CC license.
TED releases an official statement on their blog saying the video was removed because Mirjam Heine “fears for her safety”. TED says they are going to scour the web to remove “illegal copies” of the video.
Anons upload dozens and dozens of mirrors all over the Internet, with many being taken down by TED’s lawyers (illegally) filing copyright takedown notices. YouTube begins auto-censoring the video upon upload.
