It is very easy for me to astral project consciously at any time. Can I lie down, with a sigil of Hagiel around my neck as point of focus, project out of my body and able to summon her on the astral plane for communication? What are the dangers? What are the precautions here? Is it even feasible? Are there any books, blogs that write on using astral projection for summoning spirits? Franz Bardon did talk about mental wandering in the spirit’s world before evoking it. I’m not sure if mental wandering comes closer to astral projection as projection feels more ‘physical’ than mental wandering.

Yes. You can also create an Astral Temple in your personal astral, which is based in shamanic techniques, and lets you perform full rituals.
The same as doing it physically. Make sure your shields and wards are on point as always, and you know how to banish. Astral combat could come in handy but if you keep the existence of your astral location private you shouldn’t get too many human intruders.

I see them as the same thing but one is deeper into it with better site contact. The risk is that inventive imagination, and interpreting subconscious communication about what it is sensing are not the same thing. Imagination can get you started, but you have to be able to listen to your subconscious - it’s the one getting the impressions and the conscious mind has to be trained ti step back and not get in the way. It’s just always trying to identify everything as fast as possible, and with the astral, it’s always wrong.

A book called Summoning Spirits by Konstantinos deals with the evocation of spirits through astral projection. It’s a bit rhp, but it can easily be adapted.
