“If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. For you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you"
I have someone I want to die. She’s a cute Hindu accounts clerk in a tenured position, meaning she’s guaranteed to have a decently paying and respected job for life. Religious. Rich social life and support system, comptent, better education than me. Arguably set for life.
She was supposed to train me up and we had a falling out when I overheard her bad talking me to the boss of our department and knew I had overheard. I’m also not perfect dear reader, I have faults and some of them are at play in the larger story but I was not at fault here.
I was gossiped about to my boss because I explained to her why I thought a collaegue might have had a bad impression of us. She misunderstood me as siding with him. How do I know she bad talked me? Because she was extremely careless with it. she went into a separate but open space in the office and forgot I was near by and could eavesdrop. while she didnt know I was eavesdropping another workmate knew and would later tell her. I try to think what I could have done better reasonably but I dont think Im at fault here.
she stopped teaching me the work or informing me of deadlines.
this would cause a falling out between me and a boss, who would cause a falling out between me and another, who would cause a facility wide destruction of my reputation, which would cause damage to what could have been a lifelong friendship.
Shes not the person who hurt me the most but she’s the “original sin” behind my suffering at this job. all of the people in the larger story are all good people who made wrong choices.
Ive prayed for her doom multiple times with multiple rituals. they all failed, with her funnily enough acting much more friendly to me after such prayers. I’d know since I kept a dairy.
I’ve held on to too much hatred and want to move on.
Ive tried much to deal with the trauma of group humiliation and ostracization. Im too tired to hold onto hatred I forgive her because I deserve peace.
Im going to pray the Hail mary for her in latin, I shall pray that a woman with such means as her, of making the world a better place, will actually use her gifts as such. IN line with the bible verse quoted at the top of this post, if a great evil happens to stop her by death or anyother means, thats…unfortunate and truly unsettling but in the secular sense is of healing to me.
pray for us/ora pro nobis, dear reader
