What is the relationship between the responsiveness of demons and the level of fear in the operator?
From what I got out of the Book of Azazel it seems fear can be an added catalyst to more effective evocation.
Obviously there must be fine line walk, or wave to surf, in not being so afraid you close up and lose your sense of power/ deserving/ signifance as the Operator.
And yet, it seems that spirits like to call, when they know you’ll be thrown off balance, or slightly perturbed.
Assuming the magician is in good mental health and can handle the unpleasantries of a sustained sense of danger, what good does evoking your Fight or Flight mode do for ritual if anything?
