Any one every try a sensory deprivation tank (isolation tank)?
no family but i’ve read a lot ab out it in the book Darkness Visible by Ross Heaven. I am interested, and would love to try in

Not the tank but I would love to if I ever get the chance. But one thing I do for meditation and astral work is try to somewhat replicate it. I will lay down comfortably with a blindfold and earbuds. But in the earbuds I am playing pure static white noise (though I tend to prefer “brown noise” ). It hardly takes me any time at all to sink into a full trance like this and I lose all sense of time while being fully awake.
