So yesterday I had asked Belial about possession, and this morning while in the shower I started feeling this burning/stinging sensation on my back. I found out that it was a scratch, and now I feel like I’m getting sick. So do you think me getting sick can be related to the scratch and Belial?

It could be. It could also be some random entities trying to mess with you. Did you do a banishing or cleansing yet?

Usually a deity will respond to a ritual in several ways rendering a sign of his acceptance or no sign if he will not accede.
The large burning scratch and than illness is definately a sign and warning that not only will he not accede but his displeasure at what your doing and not to proceed.
