Sad but friendly ghost

Hi all,

My friend had an elderly man die in his place and he can sometimes see his shadow lurking. He doesnt seem scary, just lost.
Is there anything one could do to help me on his way?

Call upon a psychopomp entity to help the spirit move on. Some names that can help are Hecate, Hel, the archangel Azrael, Anubis, and Bune.
