Hi! I live in an apartment and there are 3 fire alarms installed in my place and they are super sensitive to smoke. For those that live in apartments, how do you perform rituals that require burning paper? Paper makes a lot of smoke.

Not only fire alarm… what about when you don’t live alone and don’t have full privacy for do your magick? Good thread!

I cut a sheet of paper into 4 equal squares and write small. Haven’t had an issue setting mine off doing that.

I’d try that. The new alarms they installed talk to each other and if one goes off all 3 go off, lol.

Either remove the alarm batteries, or simply don’t burn anything.
If you feel that you have to burn paper for some reason, try doing it in the bathroom. They seldom have fire alarms.
Another option is doing it at an open window.
