Typically, I have an extreme dislike of rap. Mainly due to the woman beating, child neglecting, and the general destruction of the family lifestyle.
I understand the my viewpoint on rap is very skewed, and I really don’t get into rap hardly at all, however, if you sift through a pile of shit long enough, you will eventually find a small Jewel. Very small, almost microscopic in this case.

I can’t recommend Mick Jenkins enough lol, super slept on.
I started waking up when I started listening to him, and I still do whenever I need to clear my mind, he’s one of my favorites fasho, lyrically on the level of j cole and Kendrick.
He uses the metaphor “Drink more water” in most of his songs, and it means “Know more truth”, and he doesn’t specify what that is cause it’ll be different for everybody
