Well, you could use something like LBRP or the Sword Banishment from Magickal Protection are two solid techniques.
As far as whether you should be scared or worried, I would you should be aware. Fear has a tendency to blind and cause rash decisions.
It could just be a reaction to the spirit’s energy, which at that point a banishment would do the trick. I still wouod make measures physically to secure your home in case it was a person scoping your place out

I wouldn’t say that, any spirit or person can be harmful. That is why protection magick exists and it is important to draw boundaries when working with spirits. As well as knowing how to banish.
Indeed when working with the demonic the immediat people are influenced too. Everything can happen. From natural disasters, ilness, death to getting good Sex, winning the lottery and so on. Some people are attuned to the demonic and others not…
