Problem with meditation

i feel like i cant meditate properly the meditation that i use is:siting on crossed legs and focus on my breathing
i feel like i cant go in the state…is that my anxiety?and what i can do about this?

Have you tried simply sitting in a chair - no fancy yogic positions, just sitting naturally, nothing crossed and perhaps trying a guided meditation first?

I find that unless I am completely alone and completely relaxed (ideally without someone snoring next to me) I can’t get into state. So I’ve ended up having to do meditation in my office/ironing room/ritual room.

I know glamorous, it’s that or the snoring or being attacked by moths…
