Tomorrow I will be evoking Acheron (Kingdoms of Flame; perhaps Eshmak as well) and ask him if he can influence decisions such that the cruise missile preparations remain only that, preparations, and never materialize into a launch. Perhaps by then the world will have already changed, but if not, help me prevent such a war either by evoking other entities, or Acheron as well?

Not exactly new, but yes probably some attention will be drawn, unfortunately.
I recommend you search the forums for posts that Frater Apotheosis has written. I recommend you use his name as the author, and then try search terms such as “government” “casino” “corporation” “employed magicians”, etc. Also look at what defectron has written on the topics.
In case you didn’t read between the lines, he was warning you that if you do this, you are plunging yourself into the fire.
Also… you want to stop cruise missile attacks against a brutal government attack on its citizens? Sometimes force requires force. I’m not sure the Syrian government is fit to rule. Perhaps you could take a more nuanced approach to your shaping of global affairs?
