Phoenix Council vs. Satanists

LOL. This is a big deal in my area.

A sharply divided Phoenix City Council voted 5-4 Wednesday to stop having an opening prayer at council meetings and instead observe a “moment of silent prayer,” a move that blocks a group of Satanists from giving the invocation at its next formal meeting.

But the decision sparked protests from some residents and city leaders, who said having a moment of silence is akin to banning prayer and gives the Satanists a victory.

They should do an evokation instead

Exactly. And if they allow the other groups to observe and lead a moment of silent prayer, theen the Satanists should get to lead a silent prayer… Using magickal gestures instead…hehe… These folks need their boat rocked…

They have all day to pray in their homes and at church or anywhere else. I dont see what the big deal is. Now I would understand their outrage if every Main Church in all cities and towns was Satanic Church only…but it isnt…it is all christian churches.

A few years back some Korean people put up a Korean goddess statue that was very nice and all these hicks over here freaked out. I’m not sure if they took it down or not.
