being that the word “demon” (from “daimon”) essentially means “spirit”, does this mean that when people die, they can become demons?
that is, are all spirits we call “demon” some kind of super natural beings that were never human, but were always these intangible things of some nether world?
or are demons actually people and other living things (like dinosaurs? ancient fish? the first amoebas?) that have passed on? can they once have been living things from other planets in this universe?
or are what we know as demons beings that were never physical, like us? just wondering.
My own workings, and what Eva said, confirmed for me, is that demons are basically love.

E.A. said here that they are basically the incarnation of various universal powers and forces, and exist devoid of many of the limits of other spirits, but to me,they are not just a power,or force, they are LOVE.
Love for forbidden knowledge(Azazel),love for homicide(Glasya Labolas),Love for the Material World(Belial),Love of Influence and Interconnectedness(Paimon),etc.
Love being the most powerful, pure and beautiful force in the Universe.
In my Pact With Paimon thread,I had asked at some point Paimon what demons were and how exactly HE would define his office, and he said he was the demon of interconnectedness, and influence.
Which makes lots of sense.I also talked about angels VS demons and their ambiguity in one of my first posts here:
