Offerings for Angels

I am educated enough to differ. Let’s stop here. I know your intentions. I did not start the fire I just bite back. Just one thing - > Sexism is sexism and the timeline does not matter. And I had philosophy courses back in school. Aristoteles was wrong in many of his beliefs. So… I do not care. My first language is not English tho. So that silly woman backs off now as I do not see sense in that discussion.

Congratulations then you know more than me.

By your own admittance, you are evidently not.

Someone once told me that it is testament to one’s intelligence and maturity if they are able to study the works of someone who’s personal beliefs stand in opposition to theirs. I find the works of Marxian socialist philosophers very interesting. However, I do find that feminist studies lack substance and logic.

No one can be wrong in terms of philosophy. Philosophical conclusions are merely artistic expressions of different perceptions of existence and in-existence that one cannot designate as absolute truth or falsity due to being conceptualised by a contradictory being (man).

Thanks for the responses everyone. Pretty much what I was thinking, I’ve never heard of Angels demanding offerings but she thinks for sure they’ll get offended if I don’t. I’ll leave an apple or something like she keeps insisting just so she’ll calm down.

Hey DK i’ve been noticing that you’ve mentioned in a couple of replies that you don’t give offerings. I’m curious to know what do you give if they have completed a task for you? Like how do you keep the relationship stronger? Curious to know, thanks.

I simply acknowledge and thank them.

Offerings are not supposed to be a tit for tat kind of thing. They are a gift you give, not a payment for services, so they are not a requirement (to be clear, the spirits in some traditions do require offerings, but I don’t work in any of those traditions).

My personal belief is that, like EA says, spirits want to exercise their power, so they enjoy any opportunity to do so.

I have given offerings to only a very small handful of spirits, and mainly as a sign of my respect and appreciation. I have also given an offering or two when it was politely requested (if a spirit were to demand an offering, I would not give one. I don’t take orders).

Angels usually want a genuine thank you, but they don’t mind offerings.

I use Shem Angels (NAP) and GOM rituals mostly… I don’t give any offerings… never had any problems

Not everyone will agree, this is my personal belief - that everything is a part of our own mind, subconscious… therefore the angel I’m requesting to perform something, is a part of me … I believe gratitude is very important, it’s a vibration that things manifest in, but beyond that - I just don’t connect so well when I view things as outside or disconnected from myself - like the magick is inside me and the words, brainwave state, emotions connect me to the angels which are already a part of me but I can’t access through the conscious awake busy mind iyswim?

Ofc if I come across certain spells and get suggested entities need offerings then I will but personally I just have more success usually with the “it’s within me” kinda logic … not to say I’m controlling them… they’re obviously active in ways I’m unaware when I don’t consciously connect but my method of connecting is within and why would I leave an offering essentially to… myself
