First off, im fuckin lost in the new format of the forum but anyway. I was asked to clean a house for someone cause a demon was killing her dad. I got the name ish’mael. Does this name ring any bells to anyone

You may want to do some divination or even ask one of the spirits that you work with. See if there is a need for a cleaning or exsorcism.
Ishmael was the name of Abrahams first son.

I’ve definitely heard it before. As I remember it was the name of a demon in some horror movie ( as well as a religious figure of course )

You are correct, don’t know about demonic put defo pagan as his mother was an Egyptian serving girl and not his Wife, The wife disliked them both and so Abraham exiled them.

So he was possibly cursed at birth, and became a wandering spirit along with his mother.
Also there could be connection to Asmodeus, as he killed Sarah’s previous husbands, and was also the child born out of official wedlock like Ishmael.

This is above all the strangest thing. A random girl has a so called demon in her house i cleanse it and thats the name he gave me…instead of doing the usual banishing i pretty much struck a deal for him to work with me and leave them alone…ill keep yall posted
