Whatever crystals you want to use. Crystals are largely the same; a house for magical intent. Don’t worry about the crystal used, you’ll only get ripped off by some " occultist" selling magical gear.
Yes and no. You don’t use a hematite to curse someone. There’s a specific vibration in each stone for a particular group of intentions.

There related meteor stones usually found together moldovite has a more greenish tinge to it, tektite is usually pitch black.

To an extent, in the same way red candles are commonly used for lust. It depends on how you prepare the crystal; I agree with you, when the crystal under goes no energetic prep; though proper prep readies any crystal fro any working.
It’s like cursing with love energy. Perfectly possible, but needs a more experienced hand.
