Today I attempted to reach out to Lucifer for the first time.
I kept the process very simple. I drew his sigil on a piece of white paper, placed it in front of me, and lit a white candle. I then switched off the lights and began gazing at the sigil while mentally repeating Lucifer’s enn.
During this, I occasionally asked questions such as:
“Lucifer, are you there? If yes, please respond to me.”
“Please listen to my call and prayers.”
“Lord Lucifer, if you are here, please show me a sign.”
I continued this for around 20 minutes, maintaining focus on the sigil and the chant. However, I did not perceive any response or change in atmosphere.
Afterward, I respectfully closed the session by saying:
“Thank you, Lucifer. If you are here, you may leave now. I thank you for listening to my call.”
As someone who is completely new to evocation and magick, I am trying to understand, did I approach this incorrectly?
I would appreciate guidance on what I might have done wrong and how I should properly approach such contact in the future.

It’s ideal to sound it out loud. But this one always comes, whether you are able to perceive him or not. Work on your astral senses to sense, but most humans can feel the sense of being watched, or presence, so look out for that subtle change of energy in the atmosphere around you, and do not rely on your eyes.
They generally do not like to be called for nothing. You should make a request for something that gets real results in your life, or you just wasted everyone’s time.
Imagine if you called a friend on he phone, and then when they answered you say thanks for answering and hung up? Kinda weird, no? Have a conversation, even if it’s one sided.
Ohh, I see, thank you so much for correcting and guiding me. I have one more question: should I wait for some time before attempting to call him again, or is it alright if I try again tomorrow?
I’ve also been reading about petition spells on some forums. How long should I wait before attempting a petition spell?
I’ve tried summoning various demons and gods as like Lucifer, King Paimon, Maa Kali and even Nitika, none of them appeared to me in anyway or showed any signs although I have never built an alter before, Manny claim to have an encounter with these entities by simply using their sigil, making offerings or chanting enns, I am currently trying to summon Hermes and also doing the NAP ritual(I’m trying to be diligent with this ritual) what am I doing wrong and what deity do u suggest I should seek help from
You’re probably not doing anything wrong, you just have not spent any time developing your psychic senses to be able to perceive them - they are not apparent to normal senses.
