My first job was terrible. Very stressful. For years I had recurring dreams where I was back on the job reliving the stress. The dreams finally ended when I became lucid enough in the dream to say “Fuck this! I don’t work here. I haven’t worked here for years and I’m not doing this anymore!” And then I would leave.

My mistake sorry. I have the same dream where I am back at school and I am nearly 40. It fills me with horror each time

I have dreams about the stories people in my job tell me, horrible stories about their own trauma, and often my own family is part of these dreams. This is because the stress of their trauma mixed with how protective I am of my family, gets mixed in my subconscious and comes out in my dreams. This is on a normal nights sleep, exhausted with no meditation and cleansing. Its normal. It’s just negative experiences inserting its way into our dreams. I hope they end for you. X
