As a big fan of invocation I would definitely recommend you try it with a Spirit. I don’t know enough about the jinn in question to give advice on that particular Spirit. As @John_Doe said their is a big difference between invocation and full on possession. Certain energies when channelled at a level where one cannot handle it may cause injury, harm or death, but as long as you stay safe, work with the right Spirits and don’t push too far too fast you should be fine.
