Yeah I do not think it’s necessary. TGS is needed if you want an ultra-vivid experience, I suppose.

But, honestly, I think TGS is kinda misleading. E.A. coined this term, but I doubt he ran an EEG scan while he was evoking. If he did, well kudos to him for his dedication. But if not, I think it’s just better to call this thing trance. Or state of altered consciousness. Or even hypnagogia.

I agree with this! It would take some practice to get to that point, but it is possible, hell I’ve been slowly coming closer to that every time I do ritual, but far from reached that point

dagar, you probably have been and just didn’t or don’t realize it. When I went to bootcamp with Eric, I realized I get there with very little effort. Just prepping my temple area for evocation can bring me to tgs. Maybe different for everyone. Eric pointed out to me when I was in tgs. It’s a very familiar place for me.
