They are free; just make an account. For some Coursera courses you will need to apply for (informal) financial aid to be able to take the tests/get certificates; it takes a few weeks and I’ve never been rejected. You get a certificate at the end, not credit. I’m not as familiar with FutureLearn. There is also a MOOC platform called “edx”, but I can’t stand their interface so I haven’t included any.
