Since it seems a little bit too early to inspire my ability to give compassion and empathy regardless of the receiver being “deserving”, I will move on to the Qalb. This time I am using Ya Wasi’ to melt away the borders around my heart and to make room for some sort of “boundless capacity” thing that could take place at some point. Or not.
Meditation visuals:
unstitching a green glowing thread with a golden sewing needle from a deep red piece of cloth. The thread has been stitched as a square pattern into the cloth. It feels difficult to losen up the thread; my heart feels physically sore and sensitive in response to every little stitch that gets undone. I can only move very slowly, taking a few breaths in between each point that gets undone. The green thread wraps itself around my right index finger. I think that its not malicious or has any ill intent with the task that has been given to it. Also: ouch.
