Twice I’ve found a specific type of spirit of the Dead working against me for someone else. They are demonic too. Black eyes, white faces, dark hair, white robes. Humanoid form. They are being used to screw with my energy and my mind.
This enemy is a chain leading to a “master” that Belial is pointing out to me within the Black Gate pathworking.
Which deity do these spirits serve under?
If they’re ghosts, they only serve under the “someone else” you mentioned. They’re here, on Earth, not in the underworld, so no underworld deity has a strong handle on them. I tried that before, doesn’t work out.
Offer them a better deal. Or attack and destroy, preferably the sender to fix the problem at it’s source.

She contacted me right after Jesus while I was pledging to my city, I met a lot of homeless people on the brink of death as I myself was close to death. She is really cool.

I’m already a devotee, I have been one since 2019.
I would opt for that unless I had close personal connection one the dead. We are under no obligation to help them and if help is what they need this is not how to get it.
You said “spirits of the dead”. That usually means dead people. I’ve never heard of “spirits of the dead” that were not dead people or animals. “The dead”, i.e. dead people are called ghosts in English.
So, if they are not ghosts? That means they’re not spirits of the dead.
You have a few options… I don’t believe in or use the term “demonic” not being a Christian of any kind, I would probably call them imps or some other lesser entity. Astral beings, maybe shadow people. It doesn’t really matter tbh, you should deal with them based on their interaction with you, as you have to do that anyway.
But it’s the same approach, take them for yourself, offer them a better deal, or make it not worth their while. Depends how sentient they are and if you can talk to them, assuming you want to, or you just fight them. Fire usually works well for me.

Spirits of the dead refers to the deities and their legions / familiars. Like, Hel has her own spirit familiars. So does Santa Muerte. So does Murmur. Etc. What you refer to as the deceased, are also known as shades. Actual ghosts are not the same thing. They are dealt with a bit differently to shades (and shells, etc).

These aren’t shadow people, and they are demonic, as in they are dark. They aren’t simple astral beings. They definitely serve under a deity of some sort.
Never mind, I’m thinking it’s possible Santa Muerte can call them off as she has dominion over all manner of spirits, including the Dead - I should really focus on disabling the attacker and removing myself from the situation.

Interesting, but the bear with me because I’m still trying to understand your picture of the universe here.
I’ve been a psychopomp since… the 80s? Ghosts are ghosts, it’s not complicated. They’ve still got a qi body, and haven’t “moved on”. That’s why they’re ghosts.
I don’t use the word “shade” at all, because I never met anyone who defined themselves that way. I haven’t found a way to understand it as a valid thing in term of my own observed reality.
I have been able to conjure entities of humans that have moved on (no longer have a qi body to manifest with), these are one of two things:
a) egregores created out of the memory of the person, or,
b) the original spirit in their ascended form.
c) (in theory) the spirit using the egregore as a mask (… never met one, I work with the dead not egregores and not ascended masters)
Angel can be really dark, so “Demonic = dark” doesn’t make sense. So can the fae, and they’re not “demons” either. Luciferic beings are “light” (lucifer = light bearer), and Ahrimanic beings are very dark. Man is in balance between the two.
… I don’t do duality, I think it’s trap to lead people up the garden path, and cause them to misunderstand what they see.
So… Do you mean, you have beings attacking you perceive as having a negative energy, or they just have an agenda that is negative for you?
I’ve tried this with Ereshkigal, and it usually works if they’re sort of, on a mission from an underworld place… they must be “of” the underworld and in her domain.
If they’re astral, which is a human domain, or Luciferic it’s harder and you might have better luck with either your own authority as a human, or light beings. Which is probably why fire works well with these ‘dark’ things.
I would say, based on my xp with Santa Muerte, she feels to me to be Luciferic not Ahrimanic, so yes, she would work well. Because of her skills and energy not authority. You’re the one giving her the authority to act on your behalf.
Semantics. I won’t waste my time arguing. You have your own terminology and I have mine.
The entities I’m dealing with aren’t negative in themselves that I’m able to discern. They have a negative agenda, or rather, the attacker who sent them does.
Literally, Santa Muerte has dominion over all manner of spirit, not just the Dead. I know this from experience. There aren’t many classes of spirit she cannot exorcise or call off.
As for treating me like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m well aware I have power and authority and I’m aware that it is my authority she acts on. I’ve known this fact for quite a while.
