I made a mistake on a petition & scratched it out is that bad?

So I’m doing the layered love spell from BALG, I wrote the first petition to Bilal about two weeks ago then like three days ago asked if I should do it again and I got cards that meant yes. I meant to do it earlier today during Venus hour but I forgot. Then around 1145 pm with only about 20 minutes left of Venus hour I suddenly remembered, so I jumped up super enthusiastic like yes I’m so happy I remembered grabbed the pre-ripped brown paper bag that I had set aside for this purpose and wrote out my petition. With 5 mins left of Venus hour, and I started to draw Belial’s sigil on the back of the petition with a black permanent marker, but I messed it up, I only had two minutes left of Venus hour so I just scribbled over completely what I messed up and drew the sigil correctly underneath the scribble. I really wanted this petition to be done on a Tuesday during Venus hour. That’s why I was in a rush to finish it. I ended up finishing the petition and burning it completely about three or four minutes into mercury hour.

I just asked my tarot cards if the scribble on the petition was going to have a negative effect on the petition/working, asked twice, got the fool the first time and the six of cups the second time, both of those to me, and according to this website that I always use are yes cards, the fool to me was saying like “yes, yes it is going to have an unfavorable effect little miss novice” but maybe/hopefully I’m interpreting that wrong and I don’t really have an interpretation for the six of cups.

Yes, or no questions are always tricky with me for tarot. I could actually make a whole separate post about me trying to get clear yes or no answers from tarot, but I’ll save that for another post.

Wanted to add that I’ve mostly been using this website called Llewelyn.com for my readings mostly out of convenience, but definitely a bit of laziness as well.

I also say a protection prayer before every reading, and will usually do the sword banishing before my readings as well.

But anyway, is that scribble going to have a negative or unfavorable effect?

I don’t think the mistake or the scribble would have done anything.

But I think your emotional reaction could create an interference with the visualization and intention. Confused feelings and/or intent tend to be what gets in the way, not the tools involved.

You can even use totally the wrong sigil, or just a dot on paper, and if you intended clearly to get a given spirit you get the one you intended. Little mistakes in the drawing don’t matter.

Based on the cards you got, I think if I were you I’d do it again next week. Call this a practice run. This time put on an alarm in your phone, stay calm, firm and clear and really put all the energy into the outcome and only the outcome, and seeing it as already here.
