Evocation skills first, then work out your communication skills.

After opening up your astral senses (which there are tons of tutorials on this forum), it’s basically similar to a human relationship. You need to get to know the spirit and see if you’re compatible.

you need to be able to astral travel or be intuned to the spiritual plane that exists here on earth. You have to meditate to ground and be able to pull your body out or meditate and activate your clair abilities to sense what beings are around you. After that you can then work on evocation, communicating, but you need to know how to protect yourself and visualize so you don’t end up making out with a newt or banging an animal spirit haha.
