Thanks for this @mani there’s definitely some truth behind answer.. How do I close a demons sigil. Didn’t even know a sigil could be closed i k.ow we can open and empower it but to close is something I never heard of ..
If you still have what you put the sigil on-in my case its always paper, burn it. Fire is both a source of destruction and a force of creation. By burning the sigil, you burn the spirit attached to it-not necessarily Agares but an entity that was attached to the energy behind the open sigil.
Every goetic spirit ive worked with so far has commanded me to burn their sigils.

I used the sigils directly from the book. Guess I’ll have to reprint them and burn them. Does this dismiss the spirit attached to the sigil when opening and close the portal wholly ?
Depends on your school of thought-me personally, if a parasite has attached itself to an open sigil after the communication is done, burning it destroys the parasite attached to it.
I recently had to burn Paimons sigil which was on my altar for eight years-that was the deal/pact made. For help with philosophy, he would have a place on my altar but after binding, he told me “burn it”
It refused to be burned probably in two fold reasons:
One, there was a buildup of my energy and his energy and after 8 years it resisted change. The deal became changed when Paimon was bound to my book. It was no longer needed and I guess with my energy attached to it, I resisted the change of the deal. I am still vaping but I am weaning off of it. When he was bound, I could no longer taste it but after burning his sigil, I see this as a confirmation that “you dont need to vape anymore”-I may smoke cigars when then occasion arises but I will no longer vape.
Two, I know this cause I saw and heard it, a parasite was attached to it even with my safeguards in place. I heard a voice say “how dare you burn my sigil!” But it wasnt paimons voice and in a moment of fear, I nearly caved in and tried to make another sigil until he told me, “don’t give in”. Come think of it, it mightve been Loki. A test to see if I would give into the fear. As I stated before, Loki’s a trickster but its almost.always a way of saying “figure it out”
If youre doing solomonic tradition, the spirit has already departed when you give the license to depart.
After binding if its by the book of solomonic tradition, you burn the sigil with intent of threat-telling the spirit that “if you do not obey me, I will condemn you back into the pits of hell”-that’s not a word by word of it but that’s how I phrase it.

I’m just a beginner and so far I’ve burned a sigil almost everytime after evocation…..The last time, I worked with a demon while creating a spell, I placed the sigil that was used for calling him under the spell container. Now I have doubts, maybe I should burn the sigil after all…The parasite thing is real and I don’t wanna feed it

It depends-does the sigil give off an “ick” energy or the energy of the demons you’re working with? If it starts to give off what I describe as “ick” then burning it might help.
Burning a sigil to me acts for two fold reasons-one it transforms the energy and ends the communication and two, if something is attached burning it burns the parasitic energy as if a way to say “you are not welcome in my temple”
In my case for protection, I have a “bubble” that my master taught me to use. I still have it in my room as well as various runes and runestaves. I can’t share the bubble I don’t think unless I ask her about it but it works for me.
