How specific to structure requests during evocation rituals?

So this is the first time I’ll be using the evocation methods described on here. I want to get any questions I’m unsure about beforehand. Using other methods previously I’ve had success with communication. It was the demon Abyzou. I’ve contacted through ritual twice before, and she’s visited me a couple times in the following weeks immediately after each time. I haven’t seen her in years.

I plan on evoking her again. But the last time I requested her help, I think my request as I states / wrote may have been very specific and for lack of a better term, air tight. I was extremely untrusting at the time and worried about unintended negative consequences. She did end up helping me the first time, but was unable to the second time due to stipulations I put in place. When she visited me the following weeks the emotions I got from her was increasingly begrudging and intense jealousy. She visited me months later the first opportunity she could do so within the bounds of the terms I didn’t forsee. She absolutely left her mark, not necessarily in a malicious way but in a way that I was unprepared for. It took months to recover fully. But I have no doubt in my mind it was her.

I need her help again and want to ask for help on respectful trusting terms. And truth be told, I need to see her again. She was unforgettable.

When performing evocations and making requests how specific are your terms if any? How can I show trust and respect? How can I protect myself from being charmed and being heart broken again?

I recommend the General Kenobi format.

General Kenobi: (name the entity)

Years ago, you served my father in the Clone Wars; (what your connection to the entity is)

now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire. (Make your request)

I regret that I am unable to present my father’s request to you in person; but my ship has fallen under attack and I’m afraid my mission to Alderaan has failed. (Why you need this entity particularly)

I’ve placed information vital to the survival of the rebellion into the memory systems of this R2 unit. (What you’ve done and will do to help this request)

My father will know how to retrieve it. You must see this droid safely delivered to him on Alderaan. (What you’d like them to do)

This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you’re my only hope. (An impassioned request, naming the entity once more.)

To be quite honest I’m not very specific, I find this an excellent format to use!

Interesting. I assume I’d adapt this to me and my relationship with her?

Yes, of course you should adapt it appropriately, doing honor to your history and adding that you want to make things right.
