How do you deal with your negative emotions?

To suffer is to have a liking for things.

Because then you’ll have dislikes,

Things that you’ll judge because you don’t like them.

Now, is it yourself you’re judging too harshly? Do you not like yourself?

Maybe wake up one day and wonder why you treat life the way you do.

My apologies, I didn’t mean to offend. It’s that these co-workers act worse than kids at times.
Farting, beltching, swearing and rude gestures, telling crude/crass jokes & comments.
You’d think 30 year olds wouldn’t have a better manners/behaviour in the workplace.
My two kids behave better!

In today’s society. We really do live in a world of adult-sized children. Dumbing down of the masses was definitely successful.

There is a way around this but it will take a little practice.

  1. I strongly recommend seeking another job. Just put your resume out there without trying to chase something. While there are many ways to get negative, sometimes it is just your True Self asking you to move to the next goo thing that’s in store.

  2. While you are at this job, I mean at the workplace, try to spend 1-2 minutes every hour recognising things that you can genuinely appreciate about the job or anything at all.

  3. Meditate daily and practice being present in the moment, i.e. aware that you are experiencing. Avoid conflict and anger in your head as far as possible. It’s not wrong but it has its consequences.

  4. Engage in all sorts of other activity that makes you feel a bit better.

  5. Imagine pleasant scenarios as often as possible. For the heck of it, i.e. without a specific intention to “manifest”.

Thanks for the advice! I have spruced up my resume and I’ve been looking but for a variety of reasons, I haven’t found anything that would be a good fit. It’s very disheartening. I’ve been trying to get better at meditation but I don’t think I’m very good at it yet. I can’t manage to clear my mind and I end up dwelling on how unhappy I feel, and then I just end up worse. It’s like I have no energy or capacity to cheer up.

Just project it onto unsuspecting victims. You’ll be back chipper in no time. You literally don’t have to be responsible for your negative emotions, ever.

Meditation will honestly work wonders. See my tutorial.

I act as if those negative thoughts and emotions are not from me…caused by an external source, so I fight back against them, or whatever is causing them to exist, like an exorcist banishing an evil spirit. I use spirit against spirit and perform a ritual and deal with the roots of the issue instead of my emotions about it. I find that more… productive.

I used to analyze too much, think too much, why-how-when-maybe-what if, now I don’t. If the weather is bothering me, I change it. Someone did something wrong… they pay for it. Money is not enough, I get more of it. Negative thoughts and emotions, whatever the reason is, I change it then I feel better.

Best way to be happy is to stop searching for happiness.
