Holy Death altar activity

I have had an altar going for three weeks now to Holy Death. The impersonal spirit, not Santa Muerte or SLM. I am waiting to venture into specific deities or paths due to intensity and respect

As usual, everyday or night I chant my prayers and light candles, the candles sit perfectly still. And the room grows darker. Whether in day time or night time.

But today, after ritual… I put out the candles. Then as it’s full moon and time to cleanse the house, I lit the candles again.

I came back into the room a while later and the candle facing my right was out. The wax fully wasted and burnt out ( a little tea light candle.)

The candle on the right was just still, burning normally.

I felt this was a message or sign of some kind. The candle burnt out on Holy Deaths left, like the scythe as it’s held on the Holy Death’s left hand…

It means if I don’t get ahold of my physical health habits, my life is halfway over

That sounds like great advice. What habits do you need to get under control?

Well… the only thing I can think of… (it’s everyday life for most people I know)… is I don’t shy away from drug and drink.

Don’t shy away or they’re habits? Habits in those fit the description of shortening both lifespan and quality of life, being poisons that’s what they do.

We’re surrounded by toxins and other things in our environments that constantly do damage to our bodies just living, but our bodies are also self-healing constantly… so the trick is, imo, to find the balance where you heal faster than you sustain damage. Hence, everything in moderation - including moderation. There’s room to enjoy a tipple now and then, take the hit then give yourself time to heal. What that looks like will depend on genetics and your lifestyle, but if you can’t moderate because you’re more like addicted, then Belial is the goto guy for breaking unhelpful habits of all kinds.

If you’re already sick, then you don’t have the time to spend, just get off them and stay off until you’re well and than consider if you want to partake. Or, just accept your may be heading to an early grave and that’s what you want - live fast die younger, that’s a valid option imo.
