Having trouble finding black cloth for spell

So I want to do a spell.

I need a black cloth to put over a small table.

I went to the local high street and none of the shops had it.

Could I replace the black cloth with a black bin bag or a black suit. Just put it over the table?

I use Ebay and get Black Hotel table cloths. It only cost £5 too
