Is PGM system effective?has anyone read Stephen Skinner PGM book?

Many of our methods of evocation have their roots in the Greek magical papyri. You can see it most strongly in the grimoire tradition. The grimoire tradition in fact is a thin veneer of Abrahamic religion stretched over the very framework you see in the PGM. Yes, it’s effective, but there are better ways of evoking and gaining the cooperation of spirits. And yes,I’ve read that Skinner book and many others.
