I suppose the closest I’ve came to “raising the dead” is when years ago I contacted my dad via channelling/automatic writing. That experience was very emotional. My hands were going so fast, I could hardly read what was written afterwards. Also, a couple of months ago, I participated in a ritual and my sister was “possessed” by our late grandmother. A very surprising experience to witness, but not horrific or uncomfortable. I guess those experiences are more like “contacting the dead” moreso than “raising the dead”…lol.
I don’t suppose I’ve ever raised the dead either. Unless you count killing a spider whose guts splattered all over my wall but when I removed my shoe it walked away as if nothing had happened to it. But I have had contact with the dead since I was about two or three. My first experience was a poltergeist in my parents first apartment. It would leave bruises and cuts on me whenever I was alone. Never anything serious. It was more like it wanted to scare me or annoy me. I showed them to my mom one day and she asked how I got them and I told her the man who lives in my ceiling did it. She told me I shouldn’t just let that happen and that I should tell him to go away. So I went in my room and started yelling at the ceiling all manner of everything I could think of in my childlike mind to hurt/scare this thing and make it go away. It never made an appearance after that and to this day I consider that to be my first banishing ritual.

Thank you Kitari for sharing your experience. Going on my experiences as a child (and hearing others), it seems as if children can tap into “the veil” of spirituality so effortlessly and not strive as hard to utilize techniques to make things happen. Unlike some adults who have to “retrain” themselves all over again to access this “spiritual door”. Thanks again for your input.

I think that has something to do with the fact that children who can tap into said “veil” haven’t been programmed to fear or scoff at such things yet which allows them to accept things in that child like way that doesn’t analyze but simply observes what goes on around it. Allowing a pure immersion into the spiritual that adults have to really work at.

I know nothing about resurrecting bodies, if thats your meaning. (Well, not entirely true; I did bring back my beloved Betta fish after he’d been out of water for 2 or 3 hours.) I renamed him The Dagda Fish after that! But I digress; the point being I do not believe in living and eventually dying. I believe we live and then we live. I believe we are eternal, immortal People who never lose Who We Are & what we’re about. Therefore to me, raising the dead is simply inviting a specific nonphysical Person to come chat awhile. Perhaps its this relaxed attitude that allows me to succeed most of the time. If the Person fails to show - well they have their own will and are perhaps not interested in me. I move on to someone else I think may be willing to share what they know about my topic of interest. Make sense?
these stories fascinate me. i’ve never felt compelled to conjure up the dead, but adore to get to hear/read stories from those who have.

E.A. has experienced bonafide, verifiable success with necromancy in his own practice. He also knows several unknown dark magicians who have completely reanimated human bodies.
I won’t get into the details of what he’s personally done - I’ll let him do it if he chooses to - but he’s achieved enough with his necromantic rituals that he’s 100% convinced it’s real and is experimenting further with it, so he can make a full length program on it.
Then of course it’s yours to experiment with, as well.

I really hope he shares the information on corpse reanimation, that kind of power would be unimaginable. I have spent years on the subject of physical reanimation and lichdom but the results of my works have been futile.
Control Life and death !!! Already half way there. Baneful Magick just about gives you a road map for the second half.

I confess I’m utterly fascinated by this discussion - ultimate sorcery indeed! I think conversing with ‘the dead’ is damn cool & indulge myself often … but reanimating a corpse! THAT would be the Event of the Century!
Are we talking Zombie-like creatures? I admit my understanding of this concept is pretty vague (OK, really vague!) With basically no personality, no ‘soul’? Or are we looking at more like Frankenstein’s monster (as in the Shelley book, not the movies) who has intelligence & emotion?

I recall one experience in the house of friend. Her grandmother died years ago and all people living in that house claim that the see a kind of ghost walking down the house several nights. Though I haven’t seen it, it is clear that there is something in that house, because nobody of them seems to be psychic and such…
This is an interesting topic…I do recall at some point in some of the early exercises for the OAA, I sat at my chair in front of my altar and called forth some of the low level spirits that were close by…actually this was one of the exercises. I found that as I sat there, a large buffalo came up and stood on his back legs and just stared at me. It had great black and very meaningul eyes that just stared at me…next came a goat or ram looking spirit that did the same thing…I remember it well as it had a great rack of horns…
Then the next one was a man that was wearing a dark brown print shirt. I remember thinking he sure is out of style with that shirt as it reminded me of one of those print shirts from the islands. He stood in front of men and in conversation that was passed all mentally, he spoke and asked who are you, and how did you get me here…what do you want? All the time he was staring with his eyes pointing downward and he would never look at me. I found out that he was from the cemetary that is only a mile up the road from me. The next one I remember was a being in a long black, hooded robe. He showed no face at all but communicated mentally to me.
All in all, it was a very interesting exercise. Just calling low level spirits from your area will be a good exercise for raising any of the dead near you. I did not even use any sigil.

Great story Fester. That’s actually an exercise I give to people when they ask me how to get good at perceiving and communicating with spirits.
It certainly is an eye opener for an exercise. Were you one of the OAA members?
Nah been solitary all my life. Been entertaining the idea of joining some sort of order if it resonates with me. Coming to places like this forum is the closest I seem to get as far as collaborating with like minded individuals.
I have experience in communicating with the spirits of the dead, but not with reanimating corpses. I’m excited to see EA’s program on this when it’s ready!
Definitely, ive had very little success with corpse reanimation even with demonic aid. I would like to see his methods.
