This is probably the first year that I am spending Thanksgiving alone. And not to be dramatic I will just add that my SO is at work til midnight tonight but honestlyā€¦ Iā€™ve been outcast/shut out/neglected/cast off (whatever term fits best to explain) by my family. Itā€™s pretty much been the worst year of my life but itā€™s been nice having this forum to have some daily interactions. So Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and Iā€™m thankful for my SO and for having the opportunity to discuss crazy shit with a bunch of crazy awesome people.

Keep your chin upā€¦I spent several years of not being able to celebrate the holidays with anyone except my daughter. It was very hard times for me and I am just now getting back to having family for the holidays.
But I do not regret those alone times they formed an unbreakable bond for me and my daughter and taught me just how strong I really am.

I am thankful I went through all those extremely tough times.

Iā€™m going to be alone for some of Xmas Day, not sure of the timing but for a few hours anyway, so advance notice I was going to maybe do a drop-in thread for anyone whoā€™s similarly on their jack/stuck with family, and needs a little BALG forum to keep them sane! :thumbsup:

Any ideas on what might be fun for it? I was thinking of a ā€œpost pictures of spirits you just drewā€ or somethingā€¦ probably a bit silly but I thought it might be nice, to keep the dark flames burning throughout Yule. :smiley:
