…well, if the memory gets erased, that whole thing doesn’t do much good.
IF we would remember our past lives, i would jsut kill myself at a certain age, and move on in a new body.

There are people on this forum working on keeping all of their memories and moving to a new body. Some will die first and reincarnate, others want to just transfer to an already occupied body.

In short: everytime the cell duplicates, the buffer over the DNA and soon the DNA itsself get used up.
Your DNA gets destroyed, by the way regeneration works today.

Regeneration in human is not very… progressive, sure we can heal a few tissues and organs but nothing like animals…
