It seems a benefit when a spirit is evoked is that it has more power over this physical plane. So since you are incarnated here, do you still have same power over physical when you die. If you don’t, can you ground your energy body here in the physical plane so after you die, you have similar power over Earth?
Unlikely, because one can project then try and affect the physical and it would nearly be no difference. One thing I can see that benefits is that now you understand the varying density and what you learned here can be applied there.

What about creating bindings and portals for yourself to use after you die? Similar to what people do with spirits already.
why would you need to create a portal for yourself?
