Fire Scrying

Hey All,

I am wondering what is the best environment for fire scrying? Is it best in a completely dark room? A semi dark room? Full daylight? I’m just getting into it, and am curious if there is an optimal time or if any time of day will suffice. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don`t think it matters, but probably a darkened room is better, due the contrast. I tried fire scrying but found the movement of the flames too distracting, instead of hypnotic. I have to try scrying in water, yet.
