Financial Transformation Magick - initial thoughts on new book

Ok thanks. Yea I was also a bit confused by that. Because after saying this, he says you should begin the magick soon after or something. But if I did the DP say at lunchtime when on a break, in random places, I wouldn’t be able to do the actual ritual until I got home, hours later.

That’s fine. He said you can do the first ritual either before OR soon after you begin the Daily Practice. The first ritual is designed to enhance perception so that you can get more out of the Daily Practice and it can be done at any time. They don’t have to be done together. Just do it whenever it’s convenient.

Im going to restart ritual 2 for the fourth time this weekend. Its like I have a mental blank spot for remembering it

I’m eight days into ritual 2. I’ve tied performing it to the mantras I’m currently practicing so I don’t forget to do it lol

Nice! My plans to restart fell though as I got a bad case of the flu and couldnt really get into a good zone. I will restart when im better though

The one part of this system that keep slipping from my brain is the Daily Practice. It’s so easy to forget since it’s not tied to anything and it tends to get lost in the tumble of my daily activity.

I have finished the 12th day of ritual 2. I’ve been taking a day off in between the rituals so I’ll start ritual 3 on Monday.

I totally found the same. Some of linking it to a particular context maybe. I was about to say I might make it something I do on the bus on the way to work. Then I remembered the 6am bus is mostly full of miserable half asleep people just woken up, and grumpy exhausted night workers on their way home  Maybe i’ll try to set it up as something I do immediately after stepping off the bus

Maybe I’ll try to make it part of my morning meditation, before I do the mantra chanting.

I’m five days into ritual 3. I wound up missing one day though because of necessary job responsibilities. I got so busy I completely forgot about any magick that day, even the mantras.

Hmm…I’m not very sure about this book. I feel like it’s lacking something. I have five days remaining of the seventeen days for ritual 3 and I really can’t tell if it’s worth the amount of time and effort spent or not. Ritual 4 requires nineteen days and I’m kind of balking at it. I have the necessary discipline, I’ve been chanting the same mantras for a month now after all, but I’m beginning to suspect that the GOM stuff might not be for me. I did the year long operation of Brand’s Success Magick twice and didn’t get any real noticeable change in my circumstances from it so it makes me wonder why they chose to superscede the original Wealth Magick book, which involved charging talismans and summoning Elubatel and Claunek, with this more subtle method. Wealth Magick was known to create actual change, even if there was the potential for chaos with Elubatel. When you are trying to bring large amounts of wealth into your life, don’t you kind of need the shakeup?

Maybe I should ask some divination…

Maybe. I find it difficult to get motivated to restart this one again.

You can take a break from it and resume at a later time if you feel like it.

I had another look at the reviews. Most are from a week or two after it was released so too early to tell. Only a smattering from later and only one person mentioning results

Don’t they first release their stuff to a select group of their followers on Patreon or something? I’ve always thought that’s how they get so many early reviews when a new book drops. I mean, Financial Transformation is a year long working, so there is no other way someone could be getting results so quickly.

A lot of the early ones actually mention that they havent started it yet. The one commenting on results was about four month after release date.

How can they review a book they haven’t used? lol

Does the Gallery use bots to boost their stats?

I think its more that some fans are very sycophantic and decide that every book is the best thing ever as soon as they buy it. Its something ive noticed with the review sections of some of their other books.

The reviews I find most useful are the reviews in the few years after the release, rather than those posted immediately. But for the new ones, we’ll have to wait a while.

Im actually on their patreon and ive never seen a request to post book reviews, so its not something that they are putting people up to doing. I think its just that they have some very… excitable fans.

Yea, I also gave up on Success Magick about halfway through as I didn’t notice any difference at all. Nothing happened. Same with this one. I’m only finishing ritual 1 so I know it’s soon, but I felt also like it lacks something. Damon Brand’s books have always worked the least for me out of the GOM. I always got more results with Gordon Winterfield and Adam Blackthorne.

I was just reading that. I see ritual one as a sort of “taster” to unlock things, similar to how some books start with a ritual to give yourself permission to do the magick. But he says you’re supposed to work through the whole thing as well as working irl alongside for it to take full effect. he also says it’s “very powerful”

There are many other books, such as Magickal Riches, The 72 Angels of Magick, and Archangels of Magick that have perfect problem-solving magickal solutions. If, however, you are attracted to the magick in this book, you can solve some problems indirectly, but it won’t be a quick fix. The principle is the same as I’ve described already. Rather than tinkering with the details you look at the big picture. That means you perform all the rituals in the book, using this magick to discover the deepest success you can. When you do that, problems become much easier to solve, and many become irrelevant. As I say, this is not a quick way to solve an urgent problem, but it can be one of the most satisfying and long-term solutions.

Brand, Damon. Success Magick: The Hidden Power of Enochian Rituals (The Gallery of Magick) (pp. 55-56). Kindle Edition.

I was surprised to realize a couple or the books I have are Gallery of Magick as I just wasn’t paying attention to whether they were is a series. I have other stuff I’m working on by Ant’harratu as par of my pact with him on career building led me to it, so something about it is probably on the nose.

It may be in the technique thing and taking the time to read the very long lead up to get the right headspace alignment, as there are several chapters rambling on that I bet a lot of people skip - and maybe shouldn’t?
