Recently I got my first tarot deck, XIII by Nekro
I absolutely LOVE the art of the major arcana, but it’s kinda disappointing that there is so little symbolism compared to the rider-waite deck
I also feel that the art of the minor arcana was very lazily done…
But, it was pretty inexpensive and it’ll do for my first tarot deck…
What’s your favorite tarot deck?
Cowley’s Thoth tarot, and Donald Tyson’s Necronomicon tarot are my two favourites.
My favorite is the Tarot Illuminati Deck. It’s gilded gold edges definitely caught my eye. I also really like how mystical it looks. I do admit that the angel of Temperance looks a bit wonky, but it’s a decent beginner deck (Rider-Waite inspired).
I also have the LowBrow tarot deck (major arcana). It helped me familiarize myself with the major arcana. But now I only use the Illuminati.
I love my Fountain deck… Beautiful cards with silver gilding
Thoth tarot, mainly because its the only one without any cards missing that I own.
Imperial Dragon Oracle and The Gay Tarot.
Not sure what my favorite one is. Every time I think I found my favorite deck, I find another.
Though I find myself liking dramatic art…
