That truly is stunning. Thanks for sharing that. Can you give a little more specifics on the exact title of the deck and/or artist and who publishes it? Like the Marseille tarot, there are numerous variations on the same theme and I am having some difficulty finding your particular Visconti deck in the midst of the different ones that pop up on a google image search or Amazon. I would definitely like to put that one on my collector’s list.
My favorite deck is the Deviant Moon Tarot. Although it’s published by US Games it has a European feel to it and quality one would expect more from a deck put out by Lo Scarabeo (wouldn’t surprise me if that is who put out your Visconti deck, actually). As a matter of fact, the description on Amazon says “Deviant Moon Tarot has drawn something of a cult following and was voted as the Top Tarot Deck of All Time by Aeclectic Tarot readers.”
US Games description states “Deviant Moon Tarot explores the dark side of the subconscious with haunting surreal imagery.”
I completely agree. I love love this deck.
I collect decks, some simply for the artwork. I have a few a "novelty"decks that I have that I may never actually use for divination. One I recently bought because I loved the art was this deck, the Cruel Thing tarot based on a Spanish graphic novel series.
Another deck I recently bought for the surreal artwork was this one, The Tarot of The Zirkus Magi. Love the bizarre retro carnival thing it has going.

Decks I have been working with though in recent times are The Babylonian (not exactly stunning artwork) and The Hermetic Tarot, a good black and white deck with lots of Western magick/occult symbolism.
