Experienced Vampyres Let Me Know What You Think Of This

So, I recently began astral travel and feeding.

The first night I went to my target and fed quite nicely, meaning that even though I got to bed at 1am I woke up at 6am fully refreshed and extremely energetic. This is despite the fact that the target is cursed. I wanted to suck out more energy to enable the entities to work on him faster.

Now here is where it gets weird:

The next day I created a servitor and built a sigil for him. I sent him forth to feed on the target and once he returned to deliver the energy, I began to feel pretty sick. Same target, but delivery through servitor.

The night before I had eaten fish that may have been off, although I ate at a luxury restaurant. I had no problems with the fish until the day after. In other words there was a timespan of about 12 hours until I felt sick.

I am currently at a point where I believe that either simply the fish was off, or the fish was good, but the energy I got from the target made it go to shit, since the target is cursed.

Has anything similar ever happened to others here?

Lessened sleep requirements are common in the short term, but you’ll end up sleeping a full 12 hours every now and again to make up for it, so don’t count on it in daily life. I’ve never gotten sick from feeding, though I have felt sympathetic pains and emotions which I immediately recognized as not mine and grounded out with no difficulty, or transmuted. Since I find “proxy hunting” to be lazy, I don’t engage in it.

Did you instruct the servitor to cleanse the energy before returning it? What was the nature of the curse? Are you feeling better now that you’ve purged the fish? Have you grounded or otherwise purged the offending energy?

And stop spelling “vampire” with that insufferable Y.

If reduced sleep is not one of the primary objectives,
what then are the main advantages of vampirism?

I’ve never got sick from feeding either, just the sympathetic pains and emotions that Creed mentioned.

I’ve noticed that those of us who can trace being a vampire or succubus back to childhood don’t need to consciously filter out the bad shit, it just happens. We were born with an effective feeding system.

Off the top of my head, there’s fast healing both injuries and sickness, always having a chi supply, an effective means of laying my enemies to waste, being able to get complete strangers to trust in me, confide in me, and defer to me on everything, being able to move entire crowds of people, being a complete God in bed, and being able to cow just about anyone with a stare.

Whow creed that is some quite nice bonuses actually, maybe i should take up vampirism too - until this moment i thought it was for nothing, just for the fun of “feeling the energy” … or something.

Sure, just because you said so there shall henceforth only be one version of the word vampyre globally. You are one powerful guy.

I’m impressed.

As for the rest of your answers, thanks there is actually some useful stuff.

And as to the nature of the curse, I wont go into details until its complete, but what I can say is that the effects I experienced are very similar to those intended on the target. I’m absolutely fine again, it only took half a day to recover from what the doctor called a serious situation. It just quickly healed all by itself after I returned the energy to the target in another visit.

As for the servitor way being lazy… some of your comments come across a bit ignorant although I see what you mean. Creating servitors can involve a lot of work (depending how much you are going to put into it). Once you have built an army of these fuckers, the work can involve complex planning and oversight. Even while using just 1 I am consciously aware of what he is doing and am giving him a certain amount of time to get it done. I have put a lot of work into the creation of this one and he’s a little Frankenstein. Very effective but without a filter. I have a new use for him at this point as I don’t intend to give him a filter.

Thanks everybody for sharing your insights

But of course, we all go our own way.
Just be sure to tell me when you come around to my way of thinking.

Don’t get me wrong I enjoy feeding myself.
I just don’t see why one should say no to servitors just because it’s “lazy”. At all.
That’s like saying evocation is lazy because you are charging a demon to do the work…

Basically not exactly a clever argument. But an argument the likes of which I have come across many times while in an occult organization that was known for its love of theory and condemnation of everything it hadn’t tried or wasn’t successful with.

Anyways, cheers for whatever info you gave in the midst of all this noise

While your list of benefits is impressive, I am surprised it does not include such things as “restoration of youth” or physical immortality.

I think it can include restoration of youth to an extent, while physical immortality is rather unlikely from what I’ve seen. I have personally met about 15 real life vampyres (those who feed on prana rather than blood) and the advanced ones looked like they had their life in order, some of them even looking pretty youthful despite having crossed their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. That said, part of that was certainly due to cosmetic surgery, while another part is that they paid a lot of attention to their diet. Most also practiced some form of martial arts or other physical activity on a regular basis.

From my brief experience of feeding so far, following instructions from Michael Ford’s books, I can say that adhering to his instructions makes absolute sense and is healthy. Choose your targets wisely,…people who are healthy and energetic. If in a crowd, only pick those who stand out through their energy and vitality. That way you’ll avoid feeding from those who already have a lot of negative energy. I find that feeding from those really does revitalize me to a degree which only deep sleep or meditation can. Not even sports comes close.
This is of course not to be taken as dogma, just a little advice based on having learned from my own “mistakes” (such as feeding on a cursed individual) so far.

If you want physical immortality information, I suggest reading Leonard Orr.
Vampyrism has not really helped me with learning how to be immortal only giving me the belief/knowing that it is possible (physical immortality).

I can’t speak to the metaphysical since I’m relatively new to magick and haven’t fed yet. But, I can definitely speak to the fish issue since I’m and ER nurse…It definitely wasn’t the fish. You would have had symptoms sooooo much sooner!

Love it ahaha. Do you have any sources you recommend? I am prone to take energy from others as I have recently realized this is how my “empathetic” abilities work. I have low energy when I keep my walls up too long but I hate everyone so I don’t want to put my walls down. It’s a catch 22. I don’t want to hate everyone but they are just awful. lol. Sex is of course amazing when walls are down. Have you tried vampirism with plants and nature? Is is as effective? I tried it the other day to heal myself but it didn’t work. I also couldn’t concentrate though.

Hey, I learned that even having one servitor is taxing on your own supply of energy, since it requires so much to keep them going. Perhaps it just couldn’t produce enough energy for you to recover in the first place.

Golden dawn says there is other ways to feed the servitor perhaps try alternative methods, but the initial creation is still taxing.
