Evolution of yourself is important if you plan to survive.
I have invented who I am and reinvented who I am as a magician several times. I’ve been attacked and I’ve attacked. I’ve been the babyface (good guy) and the heel (bad guy).
I have stood up for myself and others and at times well…honestly I’ve been a real bitch. But when when I step in my circle its all or nothing.
I have studied pantheons and paths. I’ve walked the christian road and the demonic.
I’ve bleed and I’ve tasted blood

I’ve gone from doing nothing but white magick to black Magick to something in the middle.
I’ve been the fire and I’ve been the rain.

I’ve gone through so many transitions from being a BDSM submissive to Azazel to being my own reigning goddess.
I have loved and I have lost. I’ve walked alone and I’ve ran with packs.
I’ve developed skills redeveloped skills and transformed myself to be a Badass. Albeit a Badass with a :heart:.
I’ve been a lover, a mother, a bringer of life and a destroyer. The reaper who waits. The giver that keeps giving.
I’ve discovered I will stand on a line when it matters most and say not today…
Not on my watch.

So my point is …you have to change and evolve to survive not just in magick but in life in general.

I’ll use my favorite wrestler to explain…the Undertaker… he’s probably the most successful and longest lasting wwe wrestlers. And most of that is from his ability to reinvent himself. He’s gone from a western theme undertaker to a darker undertaker to the ministry to the ameRican Badass to big evil to the two combined used a gothic look, a western look and biker look.

I will add a video of his evolution if anyone wants to watch.
To be ever changing and willing to reinvent oneself is the key to achieving success and survival.

This reply is basically nothing to d with your post but the undertaker was always my favourite wrestler haha from the first year I viewed wwf/e until now… my only wish was that they didn’t have Lesnar fluff up his WM streak!!

I agree, evolution, to learn is to be in a state of constant awareness that 1. you don’t possess all the knowlegde, and what you do have may be incorrect, or at least, incomplete, but that you can also only act from where you are, with guts and integrity, because to dither still an action, albeit the weakest; and 2. you have absolute faith you can and will increase on power and knowledge, and are willing to let past models of reality, and self-perceptions, slip away in order to get there. :thinking:

I agree but that fact he had that streak for that long speaks volumes about the man, the wrestler and his success.

He changed but yet the core was always him. He evolved.
To become the greatest. He is of the rare ones whose name turns to legends.

The undertaker possibly is/was ‘the’ greatest. The legacy does concrete his greatness and legend status though and honestly I think he was the most legendary wrestler that they employed. He did evolve but really it was from the biker to the more gothic and his evolutionary steps complimented as such. (Wish I wasn’t 2 bottles deep I would be able to contribute to this thread much better haha)

As soon as I read the word “heel” in your post, before even scrolling down and seeing anything about wrestling, in my head I’m like “this is a wrestling fan!”. Besides that, this was a beautiful post and a great description of “Evolution of yourself” as you called it. Being somewhat of a chameleon and experimenting with and adapting to the world around you to become the strong goddess you have become. Beautiful!

Well if you look his more 80s style look to how he changed over and over and was always able to make it work…he also had that time with the burning T and cross…he could go from country look undertaker of a western era to a demonic black warlock to the Badass. To something all combined. I think that made him great. To stay the Undertaker no matter the look.
He survived 27 years in a world where few do.
That’s my thing, stay you in the core but grow, learn, become more…be a f’ing legend ! :laughing:

Will also point out that nobody in wwe/f has had a longer career. The undertaker is the longest lasting character in all wrestling-entertainment history

I should have always know who I was …all my crushes were on wrestlers growing up and I would make my sister be my tag team partner :laughing:

that was 100% their purpose, look at joe schmo vs john cena haha generales don’t compete with abs. I personally believe wwe/f to have been a big energy absorbing exersize
