It’s been over a decade since I’ve performed an evocation, and I’m in the process of preparing to evoke Clauneck for prosperity. I know beyond a shadow of doubt that any such working will be potent on my part, and bring results, from past experience; hence my cautious and methodical approach.
A little about me:
I’m 32 years old (born May 9th, 1980). My practical experience with LHP is from my teenage years. After three or four years of practice, I ended up ‘running to the light’ - reconverting to the flavor of Christianity taught by my father (fundamentalist Pentecostalism) who was a preacher - because, in my view, I never banished the accumulative dark energies. The constant darkness led to panic attacks in the middle of the night, and just negative effects overall in my life and personality. In desperation for balance, I shifted to the opposite extreme.
Back to the current working. Yesterday I drew Clauneck’s sigil, whom I’ve never worked with, and tucked it away for future use in the front page of my copy of Evoking Eternity. The act of merely drawing the sigil has brought with it certain effects. There is now a heightened sense of dark energy; my perception shifts more toward the dark now. Also, last night I had a pretty intense nightmare as well as some personal revelations during dream-time. I very rarely have nightmares, and by no means to this extreme. My take is Clauneck and/or myself is causing me to deal with my fears prior to the working… things are being dredged up.
Does anyone here have firsthand experience with Clauneck? I’m having trouble finding much material on him/her/it, other than Grimoirum Verum.
I just subscribed to Mastering Divination. Perhaps this will help me attune toward learning more about this entity.

Most of the entity talk will either be in the evocation forum, or in specific areas like you’ve done. The section called “the complete works” used to be called “the book of azazel”, and most of the discussion of those entities was found there.

This is what demons do in the Hermetic tradition. They are the spirits that tempt men with things that will never bring satiety in order to cause them to turn toward God. You can take that to mean what you will, but in the context of ‘ascent’ it should be obvious.

Not at all.
I am referring to the ritual which requires sleep as part of the operation.
