Evocation incense formula thread

I have found that adding a personal touch to the incenses I use for evocation really pays off. Sometimes the adjustments come spontaneously, sometimes it is a matter of personal preference of the spirit I am working with. What are some of yours? I will start with a couple of my own:

Prince Stolas Evocation Blend:

  • 3 Parts Colophony
  • 1/3 Part Cedar Powder
  • 1/3 Part Powdered Cedar Needles
  • 1/3 Part Sandalwood Powder

Mix all together and pulverize until you have until you have a sticky, well blended and consistent paste. Re-form this paste into clumps of the desired size, according to how long you want the clump to burn. A little trial and error is required for burn time, but after a little experimentation you can really reduce how often you need to add incense to your coals.

King Paimon Evocation Blend:

  • 3 Parts Frankincense Tears (the hard, mass produced crap will not do for this recipe)
  • 1/2 Part Sandalwood Powder
  • 1/2 Part Powdered Convolvulus Arvensis (flowers are better, but leaves will do)

Smash together into a well blended, consistent, sticky paste and re-form into balls sized to your desired burn time.
