Typically the answer to this is yes, but if you can not find one or afford one you can do a consultation and ask the spirits directly if they are willing to accept a different sort of vessel. Sometimes they may agree, but most of the time you need the iron pot.
Jaydos447- if an Ebo was marked, it came out in divination by an initiated priest. The diviner asked the question and got the answers to type, to put to who, how long, and how to dispose of once done. If it was marked with an iron pot, then get an iron pot. Remember, this was prescribed to help you.
If these were not the steps, it is not a real Ebo and that criteria does not apply.
