Hello everyone, it has been a while since I posted on this forum directly.
This post is specifically to talk about and bring up a great Demon for emotional healings (processing of trauma, realignment with ones own feelings and regaining the sensation of emotions numbed by trauma or similar, etc.),
while dominantly only known for seeking knowledge and learning languages (Which He excels greatly at) one of His “minor” powers is emotional healing.
V.K. Jehannum has written in his forum post ‘Ronwe (Goetia#27)’:
” Ronove, often called the Demon of Knowledge, augments the witch’s intellect and intelligence. He teaches languages, poetry, and rhetoric, and he imparts wisdom to the sorceress. He imparts the quasi-sociopathic ability to control your own emotions. The familiars he grants are excellent for the purposes of research, magickal tutoring, magickal exercises, and practical witchcraft.”
My first experience with Ronwe was actually years prior to this post. When I had visited a person and stayed at their place (who had been severely abusive to me in multiple aspects), I had a vivid dream of having invoked Ronove in that very room. I was actually unsure at the time why I had that dream as I had never worked with Him before, and I was so caught up by the events of the person I was staying with that I swiftly had forgotten about the dream to act further on it.
Years after when I had also left the person, I had contacted King Belial to seek “spiritual legal” advice on which demon of the Ars Goetia I should work with regarding Healing (I was aiming for Physical Healing and was on the fence about talking to different health demons, I was truly unsure who to seek out as I used to be physically chronically ill). He brought forward Duke Ronove, to my surprise. I told King Belial that it was not “emotional healing” that I needed (As I had to look Him up right there in ritual to figure out why Ronove would be brought forward for the goal of healing and found VK Jehannums post), He insisted I contacted Ronove nonetheless.
Ronove treated every contact I have had with Him almost like a therapy session, I am not saying that you will offer X or Y great things and suddenly you are healed from all ailments just throughout a night, but He will dig into you and make you understand the issues by the roots and the healing process will be a lot more intense and successful. After my first session with Him, the following night I experienced feelings that followed me to the waking life that I didn’t know I was capable of feeling, and I am grateful having worked with Ronove a lot since then.
While Ronove masters languages and words, emotional healing also falls under it as He will help you actually put your pain into words and process them. He will question you and everyone around.
Either way, I will be having a cord cutting ritual in His presence this Friday, and I will be posting updates on the process as well as my own emotional standpoint.
