So I have a question regarding this book, it has workings with Hypnos but I’m curious, idm working with Hypnos I’m sure he’d love to get to know me and work with me but couldn’t I technically take that same method of calling him and use lucifer instead? I’m sure lucifer is also capable of putting us in an awake lucid dream like state as well

Why bother even working through the book if you’re just going to try and change everything?
Lucifer is NOT the same as Hypnos. Hypnos is a god, Lucifer is not, and their power sets are nothing alike.
Hypnos is the Greco-Roman god of sleep, and is far better suited for the stated purpose than Lucifer, even if Lucifer is capable of putting you in the required state. It’s the difference between calling a professional, and calling an amateur.
